Extracting highlights from submissions

A quick outline of how CustomerIQ's AI extracts highlights from folder submissions

Every folder has the option to either extract highlights from submissions or not.

If "extract/summarize key points from source submissions" is toggled on

The AI will pull out highlights for every submission snippet. The AI will act as a researcher would, where it will pull out interesting highlights from longer text so that we can analyze these highlights independently of the overall snippet. This is especially helpful when a submission will include multiple topics, like an interview, conversation, or long review.

If it's toggled off

Snippets will be treated as highlights and text will remain exactly as submitted. This is helpful when we know the submissions are short an about only one topic like: feature requests, slack messages, etc.
